This is your friendly neighborhood principal speaking! Of all the wild, impressive things human beings have managed to do - building skyscrapers, exploring the depth of space, or trying to figure how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie-pop -
there is one endeavor that stand above the rest as the
single greatest task a human can take on: Learning.Building our brain muscles to read a complex book, solve math problems, or create works of art is nothing short of a superpower, and every single day, our school is packed to the brim with mini-supheroes striving to do those very things!
Here at Old Mill, we are unabashedly, unapologetically, relentlessly curious! We don’t just tolerate “Why?” questions here; we hunt for them!
You can’t answer life's great mysteries, create masterpieces, or explore the unknown without foundational knowledge and a team of trusted people to guide you. That is why our most important foundation is unconditional love and respect.
Kindness isn’t just a polite suggestion at our school; it is high-octane brain food! We take care of each other, celebrate our differences, and lift each other up, so that all who walk through these doors feel safe to take risks,
explore ideas, and learn from our mistakes.We know that raising, smart curious, compassionate humans takes a village, and we are so honored to partner with our Wise Owl families for that noble task.
