Board of Education Work Session

Board of Education members will meet for a video conference on March 31st for the Board Work Session. The work session can be viewed live on the TCSD Facebook Page.
Public Session begins at 7 p.m. During Public Session, they will discuss the Technology-Rotation plan and cost, competency-based education, and Bond information.

It's Friday! As a school district, we have been in a school dismissal for two weeks. Today it was reported that Tooele County has had one additional resident diagnosed with COVID-19 bringing the total to five. According to Tooele County Emergency Management, Tooele County has two confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. Utah is anticipating a spike this week and next week in confirmed COVID-19 cases and we need to be prepared. Please continue to practice social distancing, handwashing, and avoid touching your face.

Daily Update: March 19, 2020, 3 p.m.

Our faculty and staff continue to work diligently to make sure schools are cleaned and meals are being served to those who need them. Electronic devices and learning packets are still being handed out and will continue through to Friday. Teachers are online and checking-in with students, adding learning resources and making video tutorials.
Parents and students may be receiving multiple emails, and it can feel overwhelming. Please be patient with us. We know there is a lot of information being pushed out and we expect that to normalize shortly. (For more information from today's update click on the title)

There have been no new updates from the Tooele County Health Department. As of noon today, there are 51 cases of COVID-19 in Utah. All schools are still on dismissal or “soft closure” until March 27, 2020. (Please click on the title for the rest of the daily updates)
